Flex-Turn® wire mesh conveyor belts are the ideal solution for gently conveying products around corners while maintaining proper product alignment and spacing. They offer the tightest level transfer and smallest inside turning radius available. Smooth product handling minimises potential damage to delicate products.

Wire Belt’s Flex-Turn® conveyor belts are specifically designed to work with their complete Flex-Turn® conveyors. Designed similarly to the Flat-Flex® belts, Flex-Turn® belts are easy-to-clean and maintain.

Wire Belt Company’s Balanced Spiral belt is an extremely popular mesh design, found in almost every manufacturing industry throughout New Zealand and the rest of the world. Having the capability of being used in a variety of applications due to an extremely wide range of mesh specifications, and having an excellent strength to weight ratio.

Balanced Spiral mesh features a simple yet effective design, constructed from alternating left and right hand spiral coils. These coils are held in place by interconnecting crimp rods which run through the width of the belt. The edges of the belt can be supplied either welded or with a knuckled selvedge.

Balanced Spiral gains its excellent tracking properties by employing an alternating pattern which prevents the belt from pulling to one side. Lateral movement within the belt is reduced by the use of specially crimped rods which hold each spiral coil in place.

It is most commonly installed as a friction-drive belt; however certain meshes can be supplied as Positive-Drive, which allow for sprockets to engage with the belts mesh. Alternatively, we can supply Balanced Spiral with chain edges for high load applications.

Wire Belt offer the Ladder-Track™ which is commonly referred to as Ladder Belting. This is a simple and hard-wearing belt, commonly found in cooling spirals and conveyors within bakeries. Its open design provides efficient air flow to cool your products, requiring very little maintenance as well as facilitating easy and thorough cleaning.

Honeycomb Wire Belt is extremely robust and the ideal solution for any application which requires both durability and an open belt design whilst maintaining a flat carrying surface. For users who wish to improve their energy efficiency, the high strength-to-weight ratio makes the Honeycomb Wire Belt an ideal choice.

The Honeycomb Wire Belt is constructed from formed flat wire strips connected by cross rods which run through the width of the mesh. The rods are finished with either welded button edges or hooked edges.

It is a strong, lightweight, positively driven belt. A large open area makes this belt particularly suitable for processes such as washing, drying, cooling, cooking.

Wire Belt Company’s Cordweave belts are specifically designed for conveying very small items, due to the belt having an extremely close and flat mesh. As the Cordweave wire belt is extremely dense and smooth, it is able to provide a uniform heat transfer across the carrying surface. These characteristics make the Cordweave belt suitable for a wide variety of applications, ranging from biscuit baking to handling small mechanical components.

Cordweave belt is essentially an extremely dense version of the Balanced Spiral belt which has multiple spirals and cross rods per pitch. Effectively it is creating a “belt within a belt”.

By offering very little open area and a flat surface, Cordweave is a popular choice for applications as diverse as bottle-annealing to baking small snack products.

Cordweave wire belt is commonly supplied in Grade 304 Stainless Steel and high carbon steel materials.

The Cordweave belt is driven by friction rollers, with chain edge variants being available as a special option. Cordweave can also be supplied with cross flights and side plates for applications requiring product elevation of separation.

Wire Belt Company’s Rolled Baking Band is designed primarily for ovens common to the baking industry, where an extremely flat carrying surface is required for the direct baking of biscuits and cookies.  These belts are often installed in biscuit baking tunnel ovens in lengths in excess of 100 metres with baking zone temperatures up to approximately 310°C.

Rolled Baking Band also known throughout the industry as “Z Belts” is created by forcing a duplex unilateral spiral woven mesh through a rolling process to achieve a completely flat, smooth surface and a reduced belt thickness, without compromising heat efficiency.  The design creates a belt of low mass, high strength with good air circulation.  The belt is friction-driven by means of a large diameter drum, commonly placed at the out feed of the tunnel oven.

By providing a flat, uniform surface, Rolled Baking Band is suitable for conveying both soft and hard dough through baking processes whilst ensuring an even heat transfer across the whole belt width.  Rolled Baking Bands may not be suitable for soft doughs with a high fat content where the dough will flow into the mesh in the baking process.
