L5M-A Laboratory Mixer
The versatile L5M-A Laboratory Mixer features touch pad control with a digital tachometer displaying RPM, an amperage display and a programmable integral timer. These functions are invaluable when creating formulations and reproducibility is required.
Furthermore, the L5M-A can be connected to a computer via an optional USB port for use with the Silverson “DataLogger” program. Allowing monitoring and recording of speed and power draw during operation.
The L5M-A comes complete with the standard two frame arm mixing assembly. This includes a General Purpose Disintegrating Head, Square Hole High Shear Screen, Standard Emulsor Screen, and Axial Flow Head. Advanced Packaging Systems holds the standard assembly in stock, and can supply various other interchangeable assemblies on request.

L5 Sealed Unit
Designed for research and development in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology fields where it is essential to exclude airborne contamination. The L5 Sealed Unit Laboratory Mixer allows sterile or highly infected tissues to be handled under conditions of absolute safety.
Featuring a Quick-Release mechanism for use with a large range of mixing assemblies, including special sealed assemblies for operation under vacuum.
The mixing vessels manufactured from glass provide capacities from 7ml to 1 litre. Stainless Steel vessels are available with volumes from 1 – 10 litres.

Powered by an intrinsically safe 0.25hp 6000 rpm air motor, this laboratory mixer is an efficient, lightweight machine. Having infinitely variable speed via regulator, 316L stainless steel contact parts, and a manually adjustable bench stand for different sized vessels.
